GGR 480C  FIELD ANALYSIS
CAPSTONE FIELD COURSE FOR
UNDERGRADUATE GEOGRAPHERS
Department of Geography, Planning and Recreation
Northern Arizona University at Flagstaff
Taught by Professors Tom Paradis and Lee Dexter

Reading Assignments

You will typically be assigned one or more academic readings in preparation for each trip. You can find the readings (click here) online and print them out. Readings in this course are chosen very carefully due to the intense workload requirement of the course. For each reading assignment, take short notes on the MAIN POINTS and some EXAMPLES that illustrate main concepts in the reading. These notes will be included in your final portfolio and count as part of your grade. You should have the readings completed prior to departure for each trip. In some cases, your instructors will allow you to read materials in the vans on the way to a specific site. Various field exercises and impromptu class discussions will often be based on particular readings, so it will be important for you to be prepared.
