About The Conference
This conference is the seventh in the Tourism Outlook Conference series, and the first in that series to be held outside of Malaysia. It also incorporates the third conference on Tropical Coastal and Island Tourism. The theme of the conference is Nature, Culture and Networking for Sustainable Tourism and focuses on the role of networking in creating effective local responses to the challenges of conserving natural and cultural resources in a tourism context. The island of Sri Lanka provides an ideal venue to address these issues.
