Wed May 16  ROAD TRIP 2: The Navajo and Hopi Nation: Past and Present.
        Includes: Leupp, Kykotsmovi, Old Oraibi, Moenkopi, Tuba City

Thurs  May 17  Write paper: Road Trips of the Southwest, part 2.

Fri May 18   ROAD TRIP 3: Hydrology of Oak Creek Canyon: Testing Hypotheses.

Weekend      Begin Research for Oral Presentations; Complete Parts 1 and 2.
 

WEEK 2

Mon May 21  ROAD TRIP 4: Tourism Development in the Verde Valley
         Includes: Cliff Castle Casino, Clarkdale and the Verde Canyon Railway, Jerome

Tues May 22  Write paper: Road Trips of the Southwest, part 3.

Wed May 23  ROAD TRIP 5:  Landscapes of the Mogollon Rim (2-night camping trip)
         Includes: Winslow, Holbrook, Snowflake, Show Low, Hon Dah, McNary, Tonto Basin, Payson, Pine

Thurs  May 24 ROAD TRIP 5:  Landscapes of the Mogollon Rim (2-night camping trip)

Fri May 25  ROAD TRIP 5:  Landscapes of the Mogollon Rim

Weekend      Write paper: Road Trips of the Southwest, part 4.
 

WEEK 3

Mon May 28  Memorial Day Holiday.  No class.

Tues  May 29 ROAD TRIP 6:  Eastern Nevada, Southern Utah, and the Arizona Strip.
        (3-night camping trip)
        Includes: Lees Ferry, Fredonia, Kanab, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Zion National Park,
        St. George, Snow Canyon, Las Vegas, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Meadview

Wed May 30  ROAD TRIP 6:  Eastern Nevada, Southern Utah, and the Arizona Strip.

Thur May 31  ROAD TRIP 6:  Eastern Nevada, Southern Utah, and the Arizona Strip.

Fri  June 1  ROAD TRIP 6:  Eastern Nevada, Southern Utah, and the Arizona Strip.

Weekend      Finish and Compile Final Paper: Road Trips of the Southwest.

Wed June 6     Due: Final portfolio and Paper.  You’re done!
