June, July and August are the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, which means there will be one or two showers daily. Rain comes and stops quickly. There will all kinds of fresh fruit in this season, but the temperature may be warm (though accommodations will be air-conditioned). Nightlife will be quite alive, and Xishuangbanna will not be crowded since it is not the peak tourist season yet.
