Comment on the Yangshuo Conference
Dear Alan,
I would like to tell you, from my holiday resort in France, how I enjoyed attending the last international conference in Yangshuo, which was, thanks to you and your team and colleagues both from the States and the Sun Yat-sen University, a full success.
Most of the papers were very interesting, and I had the opportunity to get in touch with a lot of new friends and specialists who, I do hope, will work with my own research center, upon shared subjects, in the next months.
Once more, I am happy to send you all my best and sincere congratulations for that beautiful event, in the organisation of which you had such an important part. I do hope too we shall have to go on with that new partnership, especially in the view of the next conference in China within a couple of years. Meanwhile, don't hesitate to get in touch with me whenever you may think we should have a useful cooperation in common scientific fields.
Jean-Marie Breton,
