CONFERENCE FEE
Regular Registration: US$ 545 - Due May 31, 2005
Late Registration: US$ 575 - Starting June 1, 2005
The registration fee is inclusive of:
- Conference Registration
- A single room in a 4-star hotel for four nights (July 6-9, 2005)
- All the meals during the conference starting with breakfast on July
7, and including the conference banquet on July 9
- A one-day border regioin excursion on July 8 to visit minority area
villages
- Transport from the Jinghong Airport on July 6 and to the airport
on July 10 (must provide conference organizers with arrival and departure
information by June 15, 2005)
- Conference program
Spouse Rate: $200 - includes shared hotel room, meals, excursion
and transportation
Student Rate: See Registration Form - includes all of the full
registration fee offerings, except that the hotel room is shared in
a two or three star hotel
CONFERENCE EXCURSIONS
- July 8 and 9
Two half-day field trips are included in the registration fee.
- Community Development Excursion:
The first will be on July 8 to visit Dai minority village to examine
their community-based tourism development efforts. A dinner banquet
will be held at the village.
- Border Tourism Excursion:
The second trip, on July 9, will to the China-Mynmar border area to
see the development of cross-border tourism.
OPTIONAL POST-CONFERENCE
GOLDEN TRIANGLE FIELD TRIP
- July 10 to 15
The conference site is in the heart of Asia's Golden Triangle
region, bordering Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. We are offering
a post-conference
feild trip to explore tourism development in this region by boat on
the Mekong River and land.
