Key Dates & Program Summary:

    • March 15, 2005: Due Date for Receipt of Abstracts
    • March 30, 2005:
      • Early Registration deadline
      • Optional Post-Conference Trip Registration Due
    • April 1, 2005: Regular Registration starts
    • June 1, 2005: Late Registration Starts
    • July 6: Arrival in Jinghong; Registration Desk open in afternoon
    • July 7: Keynote speeches in the morning, followed by parallel paper sessions
    • July 8: Keynote speeches in the morning, with an afternoon excursion to a Dai Minority village (dinner banquet in the village)
    • July 9: parallel paper sessions in the morning, followed by an excursion to the Burma and China border
    • July 10 to 15: Optional Post-Conference Golden Triangle Field Trip

Conference Fee:

    • US$495 (early); $535 (regular); $575 (late), which includes:
      • registration fee
      • accommodation for four nights
      • meals starting with breakfast on July 7, and including the banquet on July 8
      • field tripS on July 8 and 9
      • Hotel Pick up/Transfer service from the Jinghong airport (must provide conference organizers with arrival and departure information by June 15, 2005)

Post-Conference GOLDEN TRIANGLE FIELD TRIP
- July 10 to 15

The conference site is in the heart of Asia's Golden Triangle region, bordering Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. We are offering a post-conference feild trip to explore tourism development in this region by boat and land.
