NOW FEATURING:
A WALK ACROSS AMERICA, in Flagstaff!  By Dr. Tom Paradis
A self-guided field trip and outdoor lab for GGR 240 students!  The tour includes 24 geographically relevant stops from its beginning at the Flagstaff Visitors Center (train depot) in downtown Flagstaff, continuing through Southside and NAU, and out to the "approach strip" of Milton Avenue.  At each stop students apply a local human landscape feature to larger geographical trends and processes affecting America as a whole. Walking across part of Flagstaff, then, essentially becomes a mini-tour of America as a whole.
