IF YOU REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS AFTER THE FIRST ASSIGNMENT IS DUE
(Summer Sessions)

Welcome to the class. You have a lot of catching up to do, but once you are over the hump, it should go OK.

The Last Day to Add this Class is the Monday before the Week 2 Assignment is Due.

If you register after Assignment 1 is due:

(1) You should first complete Assignment 2 On Time to get Full Credit for it. I suggest that you concentrate on this first.

(2) To get Full Credit for Assignment 1, you must also complete Assignment 1 by the same day that the Assignment 2 is due. In addition, you must adjust the Assignment 1, as follows.

  1. Send the Email for the Week 1 assignment to Dr. Lew via WebCT -- Do not send it to the Instructor, as indicated in the original instructions.
  2. Indicate the DATE that you registered for this class, and if different, the Date that you were first able to access the class website.
  3. Send the Discussion Posting by WebCT Email to Dr. Lew -- Do no post it in the Discussion Area of WebCT, as indicated in the original instructions. You still need to read some of the other students' postings in the discussion area to do this assignment.
  4. Do the Homepage part of the assignment in WebCT -- when it is ready send a WebCT Email message to Dr. Lew.
  5. If the Week 1 assignment is late (after the Due Date of the Week 2 Assignment), points will be deducted as indicated in the syllabus.

(3) Note that the late Week 1 assignments will be graded on a 'time available' basis -- it could take up to two weeks after you submit the assignments before your grades are posted.
