Volunteering covers your registration only. It does not cover the cost of field trips, banquets and any other activities that have additional costs.

Students who have volunteered to help with field trips and are not driving will receive a waiver of the field trip fee. However, to be fair to other students, they must still volunteer to work at least 3 hours either at the registration table or in paper sessions to receive a waiver of the conference registration fee. Students who are driving on a field trip will have both the field trip fee and registration fee waived.
