A representative of the department will attend each of the following regional AAG meetings:

                Middle States @ Rutgers University: October 9-10
                Pacific Coast @ Northern Arizona University: Oct. 14-18
                New England/St. Lawrence in Montreal: October 16-18

Candidates are strongly encouraged to attend one of these meetings.

Hofstra University is located on Long Island, east of New York City.  It is a comprehensive university with a strong liberal arts component.  Undergraduate teaching is valued highly and an active research agenda leading to scholarly presentations and publications is essential for promotion and tenure.

The review of applications will commence on October 7 and continue until the position is filled.  Candidates not attending one of the three meetings noted above should submit their CV, letter of introduction, and three letters of recommendation to:
